ePlay Makes Gamified Camming ‘Easy, Empowering and Exciting’

Offering fans free, instant access to their favorite live streamers, ePlay seeks to deliver instant fun through popular games and new features that reward users for playing. With pocket-play mobile design and one-touch controls for players, ePlay further sets itself apart with daily prizes, special events and more in a truly gamified ecosystem.

For more than 20 years now, ePlay’s parent company has created a wide variety of adult products and services, encompassing everything from age verification services and advertising platforms to, most significantly, traditional paysites and programs.

We’re honing in on a particular segment of the market that we feel has been underserved, and we want to bring a lot of happiness and thrills to those we serve.

“Beneath the surface, our main areas of expertise lie in bleeding-edge technology development, advertising and marketing,” ePlay’s co-founder and president Clement told XBIZ. “These core skills let us be flexible and adapt to new opportunities as they come.”

Today, that opportunity includes focusing ePlay’s talented team on the cams market, which throughout the years, has seen many changes in technology, business models and consumer preferences, driving the demand for authentic, real-time connection and entertainment — an enormous demand that Picquet expects will increase for the foreseeable future.

“We know that there are many great companies with outstanding products already in the market, but we still see large groups of people with unmet needs,” Picquet said. “So, we decided to build ePlay to bring them together.”

While many other brands in the space operate exclusively in either the adult gaming or live cam space, ePlay doesn’t strive to fit neatly into either one of those buckets, instead focusing much more on creating a fun environment with the tools (such as games and gaming-themed content) that it has at its disposal.

“We believe that live streaming can be fun for everyone involved, and we never lose sight of the fact that our success rests on the personal growth and financial outcomes of our streamers,” Picquet explained.

“Therefore, ePlay gives streamers what they have been asking for: superior audience-interaction, higher margins/profits and easier ways to distribute their content and connect with their audience,” he underscored.

Picquet said that making ePlay “easy, empowering and exciting” drives the development of its features by providing a quick reference for the team’s focus and a signpost to share what the company values most.

“There are so many possible paths available when building a new product, that with these three focal points in mind, we can better prioritize features and development,” Picquet revealed. “New features that check all three boxes will rise to the top of our development pipeline and those that don’t tick any probably won’t be built.”

To fulfill this mission, the company is working on innovative systems and technologies that will not only check all three boxes, but also enhance the connections forged between streamers and their audiences. As far as target milestones, given the live version of ePlay is still in its early stages of rolling out, Picquet is hesitant to reveal all of the cards in his hand regarding the site’s future moves.

“One thing we can say is that everyone should expect to see ePlay continuously growing and developing in ways that bring value to all involved,” Picquet said. “We’re set up to evolve quickly and be nimble, adopting new tools and technology and delivering multiple revenue sources to our streamers.”

While Picquet pointed out that no single product can be the best fit for everyone, ePlay caters to a dual-interest audience of fans interested in both cams and gaming.

“We’re honing in on a particular segment of the market that we feel has been under-served, and we want to bring a lot of happiness and thrills to those we serve,” Picquet enthused. “People craving a deeper connection and more opportunity for serendipity will find a welcoming home at ePlay.”

Having the right models is a key ingredient to ePlay’s success. Most of the talent who have joined the site are well-accustomed to offering various games that fans can play, including ones that feature the model’s content as prizes, along with other flexible ways to build connections with audiences.

Picquet said that the company cares deeply that streamers have the freedom to choose how they interact with ePlay as a platform, and about the types of content and connection they deliver to their fans.

“We are committed to giving streamers an array of options and letting them find and develop strategies that resonate with their audience organically,” Picquet concluded. “If we give streamers tools and freedom, they’ll be a million times more creative and productive business owners than if we ever tried to define their art for them.”

As today’s vibrant adult entertainment industry becomes ever more diverse in the types of content it offers and the way these formats and genres are mixed and matched together, brands who position themselves to become future market leaders will, like ePlay’s credo, seek to streamline the user and model experience in ways that are “easy, empowering and exciting.”
